Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Waterworks Outside Sales Representative (AMR/AMI Specialist) for our Meter and Automation Group. If you have a love of meeting people and providing excellent customer service coupled with an interest in supplying directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!
As an AMR/AMI Specialist, you will:
Develop and maintain relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services always
Develop and maintain vendor relations
Monitor sales trends and product performance results
Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field
Work with other branch personnel to ensure phenomenal customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond
A Bachelor’s Degree is helpful, but prior experience in Sales, especially within our industry, will be considered. A successful Outside Sales Rep will possess the following:
A strong sales presence
Problem-solving, leadership, and listening skills
Product and vendor knowledge (or the ability to quickly learn it)
Waterworks shown experience
